Less is more
Our family schedule looks like a mini Olympic training camp.
Swimming, dancing, Chinese, piano, basketball, chess…
We’re stretched so thin that some days I wonder:
Are we doing all this for the kids — or doing it to them?
So I paused and asked: What actually matters most?
It’s not an easy question.
Everything feels important. Every activity has value.
And the same goes for work — client meetings, planning, marketing, admin…
But if I’m honest, the biggest wins — the real progress — usually come from just a few focused things.
So I’ve been trying to clear space for those few.
To say “no” more often. To choose depth over breadth.
Because being busy isn't the same as being effective.
And doing more doesn’t always mean doing better.
As we head into the second half of the year, maybe it’s worth asking:
What’s the small % that truly moves the needle — and how do you protect it?
