Why Sci-Fi and Fantasy Are Abby’s Sweet Spot

When asked about her favorite genres to narrate, Abby shares that sci-fi and fantasy are her wheelhouse:

“With my quirky, gender-neutral voice, these genres provide the perfect canvas to explore a wide range of characters and worlds. “I think fantasy and sci-fi are going to be my wheelhouse,” she explains. “I love those genres, and my voice lends itself well to them.” But as much as she enjoys these, romance is a genre that poses a unique challenge for her. “People in romance usually have normal voices, and those are the hardest for me to do. I lean more toward colorful voices, and that’s just more fun,” she says, joking about how much she loves to play both the villain and the hero.
