Hey, I'm Joanne!

Hi, I’m Joanne — the creator behind Fluid Art & Furniture Flips.

I transform vintage and pre-loved furniture into one-of-a-kind pieces filled with colour, character and soul. With a background in fashion design and styling, I’ve always been drawn to colour, texture, pattern and the beauty of giving something old a fresh new story.

My work includes hand-finished furniture, original abstract artwork and small decor pieces — from soft coastal-inspired designs to bold, expressive statement pieces.

My style

My style is expressive, layered and always evolving. I love working with colour, texture, florals, fluid art, vintage details and creative finishes — from soft coastal tones through to bold, joyful statement pieces.

Each piece is guided by the shape, age and character of the furniture itself, so no two designs are ever the same.

Whether a piece is calm and elegant or bright and expressive, my hope is always the same: to create something beautiful, personal and full of life for the home it belongs to.

MY ARTWORK

Alongside my furniture pieces, I also create original fluid art and abstract artwork inspired by colour, movement, texture and emotion.

Some pieces are soft, coastal and atmospheric, while others are bold, bright and full of energy. Each artwork is created as a one-of-a-kind piece designed to bring personality, colour and feeling into a space.

My artwork is about creating pieces that make a room feel more personal, beautiful and alive.
