New Jersey: Moonlight - 18 years old gelding and had never been ridden

Moonlight accepts me as a rider on his back for the first time.

I was working with Moonlight for a few days in a NJ Clinic. He was already 18 years old and the owner would like to be able to ride him.

Often when horses are of some age it can be a little more difficult to start them in riding, but the WHC method again proved to be very good. Using horse language and letting the horse decide for him self. And if he chooses a yes him self and is not forced in any way, he is safe to ride. His own choice is forever.

He chose yes! and I could ride him in a bitless bridle, in a cordeo and all free. This was a good foundation for the owner to continue working on. I am looking forward to hearing about the progress.
