My Energizing Morning Routine: Proven Success for Over a Decade!

Every morning at precisely 6:10 AM: I kickstart my day with a routine that sets the tone for energy and positivity. Preparation is key, so the night before, I lay out my exercise mat, sports outfit, and towel, ensuring there are no excuses when morning arrives.

I begin by hydrating my body with 250ml of water: Setting the stage for a refreshing workout. I leap out of bed, brush my teeth, and slip into my workout gear, ready to embrace the day. My exercise routine begins with cardio to get the heart pumping and sweat flowing, followed by either strength training for my arms or core exercises for my abs. Cardio invigorates my body, flushing out toxins and refreshing my mindset.

Throughout my workout: I consume an additional 0.5 liters of water, aiming to have poured a total of 1 liter into myself by the end of my morning routine, keeping me nicely hydrated.

I conclude my workout with a three-minute plank, a vital core stabilizer that empowers me to move gracefully and confidently through life. This daily practice keeps me feeling strong and energized, ready to tackle any challenge.

After a fulfilling 40 to 50-minute workout: I indulge in a refreshing shower. I brush my skin towards my heart with the same vigor as grooming a horse, stimulating circulation, and finish with a revitalizing ice-cold rinse. This "shocking" end leaves me wide awake and invigorated, ready to embrace the day with enthusiasm!

I typically wait a bit before breakfast, as post-workout, I feel light and not immediately hungry, preferring to continue hydrating. Around 9:30 AM, hunger gently nudges me, and I delight in a healthy homemade rusk, my favorite breakfast bite inspired by South Africa. Crafted with healthy nuts, seeds, dried berries, and lots of love, this rusk is my own creation.

These five minutes are precious to me: As I dip the rusk into my coffee, reflecting on my day, planning my first actions, and setting my intentions. This moment of tranquility and reflection is something I cherish deeply and wouldn't trade for anything else in my life.

I dedicate one day a week, typically Saturday, to rest and allow my muscles to recover and grow. This balance of activity and rest keeps my body and spirit in harmony.
