Making This A Better World For All

The Story, Purpose, and Heart Behind My Work

Jamil's Book Writing Journey

Have you heard about Jamil’s book?
If not, you’re in good company.

While it may not be on best-seller lists or boast reviews from industry giants, Jamil’s eight-year writing journey — culminating in a self-published book — is a testament to his deep understanding of the craft and the discipline required to finish a manuscript.

Writing a book and becoming a best-selling author are two very different skill sets. While Jamil is still developing the skills and knowledge required to crack bestseller lists and earn raving reviews from industry giants, he has mastered the art of bringing a book to life.

And it’s this mastery — creativity, brainstorming, organization, revisions, edits, and using the right tools to craft a powerful manuscript — that he’s here to share with you.

My Mission

I’m a writing coach dedicated to helping new authors embark on their writing journey with confidence and clarity. I guide writers through a step-by-step roadmap that transforms uncertainty into a clear vision and leads to the completion and self-publication of a manuscript that fulfills your dreams and resonates deeply with your readers.

Why I Coach

Except from "My Essence" poster. Created during a Tony Robbins brainstorming session on who I am.

There has been one constant throughout my life: a willingness to serve others. Whether through my entrepreneurial pursuits or my involvement with Rotary, I’ve always been driven to help people rise and make the world better.

That commitment deepened when I joined Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi’s Mastermind.com community. For the first time, I was surrounded by people from every background — each with a unique story, mission, or message they wanted to share. They weren’t necessarily trying to write books, but they were all striving to become the best versions of themselves so they could make a positive impact on the world around them.

Seeing that level of passion and purpose inspired me. It made me realize that my own

skills — creativity, organization, clarity, and storytelling — could help people bring

their ideas and messages to life in a powerful, structured, meaningful way.

My commitment to service, my love of writing, my strengths in creativity, clarity, brainstorming,

problem-solving, and my desire to help others bring their visions to life - All of it pointed to one calling:

I’m meant to support aspiring authors on their writing journey.

Helping people turn their ideas into books that inspire and uplift others

isn’t just something I can do — it’s something I’m called to do.

I Answered the Call

In 2015, during one of the lowest points in my life,

God compelled me to tell my story. That calling eventually became my first book, Heroes Wanted: The Screams of

Children Have Not Fallen On Deaf Ears. It turned into an

eight-year journey of capturing my thoughts, describing events, organizing chapters, revising, and shaping a

narrative that flowed from beginning to end.

From the very beginning, I discovered something unusual:

no matter how exhausted I was or when I went to sleep,

I would find myself wide awake between 1:00 and 5:00 a.m., flooded with thoughts, ideas, and insights about the book.

It was futile to resist. No matter what I tried, sleep

simply wouldn’t return until I wrote.

So I embraced it. Those early-morning hours became a quiet, distraction-free block of time where I could fulfill the obligation God had placed on my heart. And once I surrendered to the rhythm, the writing began to flow.

Because I was using the right writing tools, organizing my thoughts, sections, and chapters was never a struggle. I could easily move ideas around, restructure chapters, and stay connected to the overall flow of the story. Writer’s block never became an obstacle — I always had more than enough content, and if one section stalled, I simply shifted to another.

Along the way, I learned my writing rhythm: if a

sentence, paragraph, or idea wasn’t landing, I would step

away for a few minutes and return with clarity. What

might frustrate a new writer became, for me, a

reliable method to refine and perfect my work.

My writing skills are rooted in a lifetime of logical thinking, organization, processes, workflows, and a deeply imaginative, analytical, and creative mind.agraph Font

My Foundation

My strengths begin with something foundational: I’m spiritually grounded. Because of that, my mind isn’t focused on the noise of life, but on the potential in people and what can be — on possibility, imagination, and helping people rise.

I have a naturally creative mind that sees what others often miss. I love playing with language, transforming ideas, and bringing emotion and imagery to life on the page. Embellishment, transformation, and imaginative clarity are where I thrive.

But I’m not just a creative thinker — I’m a logical one as well. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family taught me to think strategically, value the customer experience, and understand what keeps people engaged. My background in computer programming sharpened my ability to create highly efficient workflows — a skill that translates seamlessly into organizing storylines, structuring ideas, and guiding writers from step one all the way to a polished, purposeful manuscript.

My life has always centered on improving systems, processes, and human experiences. And that combination — creativity, imagination, strategic thinking, and clarity — is the foundation of the expertise I bring to your writing journey.

Let’s be Great Together!

I’ve been involved with Rotary since 2015 and have served as club president three times. I thrive around people who want to make a difference — the ones with heart, the ones who are all in, the ones who live to serve others.

I’ve spent my life dreaming of a better world, improving my surroundings, and leaving things better than when I found them.

I’m passionate about working with changemakers as we each do our part to make this a better world for all. You have a compelling story that’s going to impact lives. I have the skills and knowledge to help you get it onto the page and ready for self-publication.
