My Human-First Philosophy

As a writer and creative, I’m a purist. My imagination, my lived experiences, and my God-given creativity shaped my writing long before AI ever existed. I’m not someone who turns to AI because I lack ideas — far from it. I’ve spent a lifetime seeing possibilities where others see limitations, and I take pride in the originality of my storytelling.

My initial dabbling with AI revealed to me that AI can be an incredible tool when you already have talent, creativity, vision, and something meaningful to say.

As your writing coach, my goal is simple:
I help writers bring their stories to life. I’m here to help you build your story from the strengths you already possess — your imagination, your voice, your lived wisdom — with or without AI.

AI belongs in the passenger seat, not the driver’s seat.
You remain the storyteller.

And if you choose to use AI, I’ll show you how to do it the right way — in a way that supports your writing style and strengthens your voice.

My strategic use of AI doesn’t make me less of a writer,

isn’t cheating, and does not diminish the craft.
Using AI with intention simply makes me a smarter,

more efficient writer — one who has nearly

instant access to resources that provide insight,

clarity, and momentum, much like:

  • research

  • brainstorming

  • writing groups

  • editors

  • critique partners

  • reference books

AI simply gives you more angles, more perspectives,

and more ways to express what’s already inside you.
If something isn’t flowing, AI can shine a light on

the bottleneck — helping you clarify the idea so

you can move forward with confidence.

You still write the story.
AI just helps you reach the moment of clarity faster.

Your stories come from your heart and your lived experiences. AI cannot feel what you feel. AI cannot live your life. AI cannot carry your purpose. It can only help you articulate more clearly what is already yours.

As your writing coach, I’ll show you exactly how to:

AI Is Not Going Away

Whether we like it or not, AI is here to stay.
It’s already reshaping industries, workflows, and creative processes — and its influence will only continue to grow. Ignoring it won’t stop it, and standing on the sidelines won’t protect anyone from the changes ahead.

I still have my own concerns about AI, and I’m thoughtful about the way I use it. But I’ve made the choice to be part of the conversation — not outside of it. Because if writers don’t participate in this shift, we lose our ability to influence how AI impacts our craft, our industry, and our future.

I’m not here to sell AI. I’m here to help authors understand it, engage with it responsibly, and decide for themselves whether it has a place in their creative process.

And even if you choose not to use AI in your writing, I encourage you to at least become familiar with it —

because knowledge gives you power.


And when used correctly, AI can complement and enhance your writing style without ever replacing your voice.
