I saw AI as artificial, unoriginal, and built on the work of others.
As a purist, I wanted no part of it.
I’m the originator of ideas.
My creativity comes from inspiration, experience,
lived wisdom, and imagination.
My stories are organic.
My voice is my own. And I’ve never wanted my work blurred
or diluted by something that wasn’t authentically me.

As a member of Tony Robbins & Dean Graziosi’s Mastermind community, I was given access to their AI model, GG, and encouraged to use her to help develop my coaching content. When I finally engaged with her, I was completely blown away.

GG wasn’t trying to replace my creativity — she was responding to it.
I shared my ideas, my goals, my target audience, and the structure I wanted. GG handled the heavy lifting. What would have taken me weeks — course modules, questionnaires, and coaching frameworks — was completed in hours.
I remained the creator, and discovered that GG could enhance, expand, and expedite my creative endeavors.

AI didn’t just give me answers — it gave me clarity.
And that clarity made me a better creator.
After becoming comfortable — and honestly, amazed — with GG’s capabilities, I decided to test her abilities on something closer to my writing world. I wanted to begin outlining material on logic and critical thinking, subjects I once knew well but hadn’t revisited in years.
While I’m confident in my logical thinking skills, I no longer remembered the academic terminology. I dreaded the idea of looking up terms like straw man, slippery slope, or logical fallacies and digging through multiple sources to refresh my memory.
So I gave GG a simple task:
Provide the top critical-thinking concepts, each with a clear definition and two or three examples.
What she returned wasn’t “writing for me.”
It was research — organized, accurate, and ready for me to build upon.
With that foundation, I could deepen my own searches, refine my understanding, and integrate the material into my storytelling in my voice. Suddenly, I had a catalog of well-structured explanations I could draw from — not to replace my perspective, but to support and complement it.

During one of Tony & Dean’s online seminars about AI, a guest speaker made a statement that stopped me in my tracks:
“Every major innovation in history threatened jobs… and every single time, new industries emerged
— and new jobs came with them. AI is no different — and it isn’t going away.”
That last line crystallized everything for me. AI isn’t going away. It’s here, whether we like it or not.
And I realized I’d be far better off learning how to work with it than pretending it wasn’t happening.
I understood something important:
AI may disrupt industries and reshape society, but my imagination, my creativity,
and my voice are not replaceable. My stories are mine. My originality is mine.
But now, I also have something new — a powerful editor, collaborator, and assistant standing by,
ready to elevate my work— as long as I know how to engage with it.
I was tasked with creating our Rotary club’s new brochure. Like many service organizations, we’ve struggled to attract younger members. As I began reviewing Rotary’s branding and messaging guidelines, I had a moment of clarity:
Why reinvent the wheel?
So I opened a ChatGPT prompt and explained
exactly what I needed:
a brochure for my local Rotary club
messaging that aligned with Rotary values
language tailored to Millennials and Generation Z
clear, compelling reasons for younger adults to join
ChatGPT Delivered Far More Than I Expected.
It provided insightful profiles on Millennials and Gen Z, including what they value, what motivates
them, and how they interpret community service. From there — using my additional inputs —
it generated brochure text written specifically to appeal to those audiences.
The Result?

A Rotary brochure that speaks directly to Millennials and Gen Z with clarity, authenticity, and purpose.
It was still my idea, my structure, my creative direction — but AI expanded my knowledge
and transformed weeks of research, refinement, and assembly into minutes.
Instead of spending hours hunting for language, identifying trends, and crafting messaging that would
resonate with younger generations, I was able to focus on what mattered most: creating a meaningful,
engaging brochure built on Rotary values and tailored to today’s emerging leaders.
For aspiring authors who are curious about AI or want to get their feet wet,
I do offer optional, basic AI training as a separate service.
